Leesburg, VA (March 13, 2017) – Current weather forecasts call for four to twelve inches of snow to fall in Leesburg beginning late this evening and into Tuesday. In preparation for snow removal operations, Town officials will put Snow Emergency Route restrictions into effect at 6:00 p.m. tonight.

When Snow Emergency Route restrictions are in place, all vehicles parked on the street along snow emergency routes (King, Market and Loudoun Streets) must be removed. Any vehicles remaining on snow emergency routes once snow removal operations begin will be towed at the owners’ expense.

The Leesburg Snow Hotline (703-777-SNOW) will be activated at 6:00 p.m. this evening. Residents can call the hotline for information on current snow removal operations and to report snow-related problems.
