Annual Leesburg 20K/5K Race Scheduled for Sunday, August 20, 2017

Residents and drivers should expect road closures between 7am and 10am.

Leesburg, VA (August 15, 2017) – The annual Leesburg 20K/5K race, benefiting the Loudoun County YMCA and other local organizations, will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2017. This annual charity road race is a highlight of the summer among local runners.

Rolling street closures will be in effect along the race route, which begins and ends at Market Station (202 Harrison Street). Residents and drivers should expect street closures on the following streets between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.:

  • Harrison Street, between Loudoun Street and Catoctin Circle
  • Catoctin Circle, between Harrison Street and the W&OD Trail
  • Dry Mill Road, between Catoctin Circle and Lee Avenue
  • South King Street, at the W&OD Trail

Residents and businesses in the surrounding area should be aware of reduced accessibility to these streets. For more information about the run, street closures, or the event route, please visit www.prraces.com.
