The 2025 Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival will welcome attendees Saturday, April 26th 10am–6pm and Sunday, April 27th 10am–5pm. The festival is open to the public, FREE, and the celebration goes on rain or shine.

The award-winning Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival has become an annual rite of spring for the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Transforming the streets of historic Downtown Leesburg, the festival showcases beautiful flowers, plants and landscaping along with the best of gardening and outdoor living products and services. The rooftop beer and wine garden, landscape display contest, three stages of entertainment, delicious festival food, and Garden Patch children's area mean there is something for everyone!

History

The Flower and Garden Festival was founded in 1990 and has since blossomed into the premier festival in Leesburg, boasting an average of 30,000 visitors throughout the weekend.

While much has changed in historic downtown Leesburg over the past three decades, the festival has only continued to grow. As festival attendance has soared, the event has also grown in notoriety as it has garnered local, state and international awards. So grab your wagon and help us continue to make history at the 34th Annual Flower and Garden Festival!

Where is the festival being held?

The 2024 Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival will be held on the streets of historic downtown Leesburg.

Are tickets required in 2024?

No tickets are required in 2024! The festival is FREE and open to the public both days.

Will there be food vendors and a beer garden this year?

Yes, there will be food vendors on the street and the beer garden will be on the roof of the Town parking garage. The beer garden can be accessed by elevator or stairs in the Town garage, right off West Market Street.

Will there be a children’s area?

The Garden Patch Family Area is back in 2024! Located on Town Green.

Can I bring my pet to the Flower and Garden Festival?

Bringing pets is highly discouraged. The festival is loud and crowded and not a good environment for our four-legged friends.

Weather

The Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival is a Rain or Shine event.

Although we always hope for a weekend of sunny weather, please note that all of the vendors will be open and ready for business on the rainiest of days! Gardeners love the rain! Boots, umbrellas, and ponchos are all welcome – and so are you.

In the event of severe weather that jeopardizes the safety of our visitors and vendors, a plan is in place to notify the public and close down the event until it is safe to reopen.
