I Ain’t Afraid — The World of Lulu Bell Parr, Wild West Cowgirl

With Diane Helentjaris

Diane Helentjaris Book signing at the Donaldson Cabin for her new book I Ain’t Afraid — The World of Lulu Bell Parr, Wild West Cowgirl.

In 1903, Lulu Ball Parr found herself living over the Buckeye Sign Company in backwater, Steubenville, Ohio. Divorced, twenty-six years old, with a third-grade education, she did what no other woman would do. She ran away and joined the Pawnee Bill Wild West show biz to begin one of the longest careers in Wild West show biz history. A headliner with Buffalo Bill, the 101 Ranch, and Pawnee Bill, she rode bucking broncos before audiences around the world. This is her story.
