There will be plenty to see on the ground as well as in the air. Tarmac attractions include*:
  • A collection of antique and modern Planes and Helicopters will be on display across the event.

  • Our featured static display plane for 2024 is the Douglas C-54 Skymaster "Spirit of Freedom."  This aircraft was part of the allied Berlin Airlift that took place in the 1940's following World War II.  The "Spirit of Freedom" is now a flying museum offering guests a chance to step on board a plane that played an important part in 20th Century history.

  • Members of the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum Explainers Program will be on site to share fun facts and demonstrations illustrating the science and technology of aeronautics, space exploration and our universe.

  • Plenty of fun festival food and local craft beer will be available to keep you refreshed.

  • Inflatable Vertical Rush Slide and Large Fun Slide

SJ Anderson, Author

Historian and Author SJ Anderson will be selling her book "Man Bar Crew" that recounts the tale of ten experienced young airmen, newly united to form an exceptional B17 Flying Fortress crew.  Based on extensive research and the shared reminiscence of two air corps veterans, Man Bar Crew follows their harrowing missions from D Day through the Russian Shuttle Missions up to the harsh winter of January 1945 and a crash landing in the Battle of the Bulge.
