Three CadetsInterested in a Career in Law Enforcement?

Leesburg Police Department’s Public Safety Cadet Program welcomes young adults (ages 14 - 20) who are interested in learning police practices and sciences to assist them with developing the skills and leadership qualities needed for a lasting career in public service. The Cadets serve their community by providing knowledge, skills, and practical experiences through education and training delivered by sworn officers of the Leesburg Police Department. These Cadets build character, physical fitness, respect for the rule of the law, and human and civil rights. The Cadet program meets periodically at the Leesburg Public Safety Center. Members will have the opportunity to participate in special events and community activities, such as National Night Out, the July 4th parade and fireworks, the Halloween Parade, and the Holiday Parade.
