The Leesburg Police Department handles requests for on-duty officers to attend a special event on an event-by-event basis. Officer assignments to these events are made based on staffing levels and call for service volume on the day of the event. The Leesburg Police Department makes every attempt to staff each event request, however we reserve the right to cancel without notice should an emergency call for service arise.
Please make your request for an officer prior to the date of your event. We ask that requests be made at least 3 business days prior to your event. The email inbox receiving these requests is monitored from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
