Frequently, the Town of Leesburg holds special public meetings, informational meetings or input sessions on a variety of topics, including proposed Capital Projects, updates to the Town Plan and revisions to Town policies, among others. As these meetings are scheduled, notices will be published below.

Public Input Session on Brandon Park Playground Project

The Town of Leesburg Parks & Recreation Department will host three public input sessions on the playground project at Brandon Park.

The meetings are scheduled for the following days and times:

Thursday, April 4 @ 6:00 p.m.

Friday, April 5 @ 10:00 a.m.

Saturday, April 6 @ 10:00 a.m.

All meetings will be held at Brandon Park, which is located at 878 Harrison Street SE. Should inclement weather necessitate a cancellation of one of the above input sessions, an additional session will be scheduled for Sunday, April 7, at 5:00 p.m. Advanced notice will be provided of any cancellations.

In addition to staff from the Parks & Recreation Department, the Town’s ADA Coordinator and a representative from Playground Specialists, Inc., the contractor hired to oversee the playground replacement project, will be present. The current playground at Brandon Park was installed in 2008 and has reached its lifespan.
