The Town of Leesburg accounting team ensures that the Town’s accounting systems are maintained appropriately and that the public receives information in a timely and effective manner. The office manages financial accounting, financial and budgetary reporting, internal control, payroll, accounts payable, and internal auditing and compliance.
Accounting manages the processing, recording, maintaining, and reporting of financial transactions as well as coordination of the annual audit, the preparation of the Town’s Comprehensive and Popular Annual Financial Reports, and the Monthly Financial Dashboard.
