Please join the Town of Leesburg’s Office of Capital Projects at a neighborhood meeting to receive an update on the Town Branch Stream Restoration project. This meeting will provide property owners with an overview of the project and will present the proposed concept plan. The presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. Participants will then have an opportunity to ask questions and provide input.

This project will provide improvements to the existing stream channel which is experiencing significant erosion and is affecting adjoining properties. The erosion is causing a large sediment transport issue that is an area of concern for the Town's Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL).  The project will also improve water quality, enhance in-stream habitat and stabilize the stream banks.
