In February, the Town’s consultants for the Zoning Ordinance rewrite provided the Planning Commission with an overview of the proposed changes to Articles 1 through 4 and held a series of Open Door public meetings. In September, they will provide the Planning Commission with an overview of Articles 5 through 9, hold a work session with the Board of Architectural Review, and host another round of Open Door meetings.

Articles 5 through 9 cover review and decision-making bodies, procedures, nonconformities, enforcement, 
violations, and penalties.

This meeting is an information sharing and gathering forum so that the Town can move forward with the rewrite of the Zoning Ordinance with community input.  Members of the Town Council may participate, but if they are present, they are present in the same manner as members of the public are – to listen, to learn, and to gather information.  This meeting is not the appropriate forum for them to answer questions from the public, to make decisions, or to otherwise engage in Town governmental business.
