Join Leesburg Mayor Kelly Burk and Town Council members for a brief remembrance ceremony in commemoration of the tragic events and lives lost throughout the United States on September 11, 2001.  

Following the ceremony, the park will remain open to the public until 9 p.m. for those wishing to visit the memorial on their own. Guests are also encouraged to view the Hometown Hero banners, which are also on display at Freedom Park.
