Planned street and sidewalk closures and detours within the Town of Leesburg - whether for special events, parades, construction work or other reasons - will be posted on this calendar.  Emergency street closures will not be posted unless expected to last more than a day.  For more information about the street closure information posted here, please contact the Town Manager's office at 703-771-2700.

70th Anniversary LCHS Homecoming Parade

  • Introduction: Loudoun County High School is celebrating 70 years! A homecoming parade will kick off homecoming weekend on Thursday evening with a parade beginning at 6:30pm.

Celebrating 70 years! Join students and faculty as they celebrate seven decades of tradition, pride, and community spirit. The high school will host a homecoming parade on Thursday, September 19, 2024 beginning at Safeway in Leesburg. The parade will travel westbound toward LCHS and turn onto Dry Mill Road to enter the high school parking lot. The LCHS Captains are pulling out all the stops to bring back this tradition. 

Catoctin Circle and side street intersections along the route will close to vehicular traffic at 6:00pm.
