The Leesburg Diversity Commission and LAWS Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services will co-host a ceremony commemorating Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The ceremony will feature several guest speakers, including Mayor Kelly Burk, Chief of Police Thea Pirnat, members of the Diversity Commission and representatives from LAWS. There will be a candlelight ceremony and moment of silence at the conclusion of the ceremony to remember victims of domestic violence. Local elected officials and members of the public safety community will be invited to attend.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the lower-level conference rooms in Town Hall.
