Please join the Town of Leesburg’s Office of Capital Projects for a community meeting to discuss the W&OD Trail Lighting project. This Project proposes the addition of streetlights along 1.25 miles of trail through Downtown Leesburg from Catoctin Circle SE (Flagship Carwash) to Catoctin Circle NE (Loudoun County High School).

The project goal is to provide a safe route for evening pedestrians to travel between residential areas and downtown, extending the operating hours from dusk to 9:00pm.

The meeting will begin with a 20 minute presentation at 7:00pm, then move into smaller groups for detailed discussion (people may come and go as they please). Staff will provide information on the different styles of proposed lighting and answer questions regarding how these lights may impact nearby residents. We are seeking input, feedback, and recommendations that may enhance the design, prior to returning to the Town Council in December for an endorsement to begin final design.
