Join staff from the Parks & Recreation Department for a public input session on the future design of the playground, located on Ida Lee Park property between the recreation center and the outdoor pool. The public is also invited to complete an online survey to share their feedback via www.leesburgva.gov/residents/public-survey. 

The existing playground equipment that was installed over 20 years ago has reached its lifespan. The playground improvements are planned for children ages 5 and under and will feature fencing, shade structures, seating areas, low deck heights (up to three feet), and will have accessibility elements, including a rubber play surface. Replacement of the entrance trail from the sidewalk to the playground to ensure ADA compliance is also planned.

Additional public input sessions will also be held at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14.
