Planned street and sidewalk closures and detours within the Town of Leesburg - whether for special events, parades, construction work or other reasons - will be posted on this calendar.  Emergency street closures will not be posted unless expected to last more than a day.  For more information about the street closure information posted here, please contact the Town Manager's office at 703-771-2700.

Christmas and Holiday Parade

  • Date: 12/14/2024 6:00 PM - 6:59 PM  
  • Introduction: Join friends and neighbors to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year during Leesburg's Christmas and Holiday Parade.

The parade will usher Santa and his friends down King Street through Historic Downtown Leesburg on Saturday, December 14, 2024 beginning at 6:00pm. The parade will begin at Ida Lee Park and end at Fairfax Street. 

Parade participation is free and open to the public. For more information on how to participate, visit www.idalee.org/events or call 703-777-1368. 

Road closures will begin at 5:30pm.
