Scope:
The Children Center Way Tree Screening project will enhance the area along Children Center Way with screening-type trees and shrubs due to the new North Star School being built.
The added lighting for the school and additional traffic that will result from the school may impact nearby residences, which will be partially mitigated by the addition of trees and shrubs along Children Center Way by providing screening in the area. Evergreens will be planted in the majority of the area, which will provide year-round screening. Deciduous trees will be planted at the intersection of roadways to allow for sight distance requirements.
This landscaping work is scheduled for installation this fall.
The Town of Leesburg, Virginia (“Town”) is requesting sealed bids from qualified Bidders to provide landscaping services for the Children Center Way Tree Screening project.
The successful bidder, also referred to herein as “Contractor”, shall provide landscaping services, including, but not limited to tree plantings, mulching, maintenance including watering and all incidentals related thereto to complete all of the landscape work as shown on the attached plans and specifications.
The Town reserves the right to perform all, part, or none of the work.
