Project Description: The Town is required to implement a Chesapeake Bay TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Load) Action Plan to meet the nitrogen, phosphorus, and sediment reduction requirements put in place by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. 

This project included retrofitting the Greenway Farm, Foxridge and Stratford stormwater management ponds to provide additional pollutant removal. These retrofits included adding forebays, constructed wetlands, micro-pools, and/or extended detention facilities to the ponds.
