East Market Street & Battlefield Parkway Interchange project information from Fiscal Year 2025 Budget (Project No. 15303)

Project Description:  The new interchange was completed and accepted into the roadway system in November 2022 and landscaping was completed in Fall 2023.  The remaining work on the project includes completion of the Town/VDOT maintenance agreement and right-of-way closeout.

Project Updates:  As of July 19, 2024 - Design and construction were administered by VDOT. The road was fully opened to traffic in July 2021 and construction completed in November 2021. Landscaping was completed in Fall 2023.
