Royal Street Improvements - Church Street to Wirt Street project information from Fiscal Year 2025 Budget (Project No. 23301)

Project Description:  This project will improve approximately 950 linear feet of Royal Street between Church Street SE and Wirt Street SW. The improvements will make the area more walkable, eliminate drainage problems, and improve aesthetics of the area. Improvements will include replaced curb and gutter, brick sidewalks, storm drainage, and road improvements.

Project Updates: There is no funding for this project until Fiscal Year 2027. Design is pending results of a downtown streets traffic study, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
