Dodona Manor, George C. Marshall's historic residence, General George C.  Marshall is renowned world wide as a major architect of the allied victory in World War II as well as the author of The Marshall Plan which was key in securing the future success of 17 European nations following the war. Thomas Balch Library,  specializing in Loudoun County history and Genealogy,  operated by the Town of Leesburg, the Thomas Balch Library is a tremendous resource for information on World War II heroes serving at home and abroad. The Library is also hosting a George C . Oatlands, a National Historic Landmark just south of Leesburg, was home to the influential Eustis family at the time of the second World War.
