Report a Traffic Problem
The Leesburg Police Department's Traffic Management Unit (TMU) handles complaints about traffic issues like speeding, running stop signs, blocking intersections, and school zone violations. Once a complaint is received, depending on the type of complaint, TMU officers may gather data using traffic counters, stealth stat devices or SMART trailers. Officers will then be deployed to conduct enforcement through the Traffic Unit and Patrol Units.
The Traffic Management Services Division of the Department of Public Works & Capital Projects is responsible for all traffic control devices (street signs, traffic signals, pavement markings, etc.) within the Town of Leesburg.
